History of Marina d'Or

Marina d’Or was founded in 1983 and from that moment on, has developed its activity in the property development, construction and tourism industries. These are important industries in the Spanish economy. Its main referent for the moment is located in Oropesa del Mar and Cabanes in the province of Castellón, where the tourist Resort is situated. Marina d'Or has obtained the provisional award of contract for the development of Marina d'Or Golf, which will be the largest Leisure and Holiday Resort in Europe. It is a project that has themed Hotels, the biggest Scientific Seawater Spa in the whole world, 3 golf courses designed by Greg Norman and Sergio García, designed to be suitable for high-level competitive tournaments. Moreover, one of them will include a golf school.

Marina d'Or is a consolidated Group currently under process of international development, undertaking responsibilities with the economical and social progress of the countries in which it is present with a clear goal in mind: to export its know how to each project. The appearance of this Group in new international markets undergoing their own development in the country is an additional step towards the internationalisation of the company that started in 2004.
